This Privacy Policy informs you about the type of personal data that is collected and received through our website https://qroma.net (“our website”), our software products (“our apps”), our support service, and about how we use, share, retain and protect such personal data.
This Privacy Policy covers Qroma's treatment information that Qroma collects when you are on our website and when you use our apps. This policy does not describe information collection policies on other websites or third party service providers we use.
Qroma is a company based in San Jose, California that specializes in software that makes it easier for users to scan images and create photo metadata.
We may collect the following data when you use our apps, website and customer support:
All of our iOS and macOS apps collect usage data that we use to improve future version of the apps. This data is anonymous and is not intended to track any particular individual or device. We use this data to get a general sense of what features are being used, and how they are being used.
All of our iOS and macOS apps collect crash data to help us identify and fix problems with the software. This data may include the type of device used, the version of the operating system and other device level information. We never collect any personally identifiable data through automatic crash reporting.
Our iOS apps have a ‘Send Logs’ feature that is initiated by the user and composes an email message containing an attachment with the current application log data. This log data may contain information that is personally identifiable, such as transcripts of voice recognitions, contact data, family tree data, and other data that was created inside the application. The log files are text only, and do not contain image data, or links to image data that we can collect. We use these logs to help identify problems during support requests. After each support ticket is closed, we delete each customer’s log file. You may view the log files prior to sending it to us, and you have the option to cancel the transfer before the transmission takes place.
We collect data when you purchase items from our online store or our digital store. This may include your name, address, email address and a record of items purchased.
Our website collects usage data through a tool called Google Analytics. This information is used to track normal website traffic, including clicks to links within and between pages. This information is anonymized and is not intended to track any individual user or website visitor. We use this data to gauge the effectiveness of our website, and we do not share it with any third party outside of the service provider.
We do not believe in sharing even anonymized data with third parties. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to any third parties for any reason. Some data, particular usage data, is not collected directly by us and is collected by third party service providers, such as Google Analytics or the Apple App Store and is subject to their usage policies. We do not allow those services to track any individually identifiable information, including personal data or device specific data.
